Defining the AMD patient journey
CMR has extensive experience in customer research, helping clients achieve a richer and more holistic view of the customer and how to optimize engagement, as well as direct experience in the field of ophthalmology.
CMR was commissioned by a multinational pharmaceutical company to gain a broad understanding of the patient pathway for someone diagnosed with Age Macular Degeneration (AMD) in order to identify how it could improve the drug delivery experience for this product.
Methodology
CMR conducted 60 minute qualitative interviews with patients with AMD and Ophthalmologists/Retinal specialists in the US, UK, France, Germany and Spain
Outcomes
The insights from the research were used by the client to inform the first stages of the development process for the client’s next generation drug delivery device.
