CMR case study: enhancing wound care product packaging and QR code design

Our client a major wound care manufacturer wished to evaluate the reception of two novel wound care product packaging designs and various QR code designs among wound care nurses in the UK, Germany, and the US.

Approach

To meet these objectives, CMR conducted a 20-minute online survey with 241 acute and community wound care nurses within the markets of interest. To support the delivery of robust and rigorous insights for the pack evaluation, CMR also incorporated hotspot analysis into the design.

Results for this project

The insights revealed that the implementation of the new wound care product packaging designs and QR code could significantly improve user experience and product differentiation for nurses and underscored the importance of thoughtful packaging and QR code design in the medical industry.
