CMR launches inaugural Global Trends and Unmet Needs Bloggers focus group
On Tuesday 24th July at 7:30pm BST, 6 top diabetes bloggers from around the world will be joining CMR?s Research Director Alper Hulusi to discuss their views on important issues affecting people with diabetes (PWD). The discussion will look at current and future technologies in the diabetes arena and the needs of PWD.
Global bloggers from the diabetes online community
The focus group will be made up of 6 influential bloggers within the diabetes online community (DOC) from the UK, Australia, Sweden, Germany, France and the US and is sure to generate great insight in what is likely to be a lively discussion.
Creative Medical Research is passionate about diabetes, having worked extensively with most of the top diabetes device manufacturers along with some smaller ?start ups? over the last 18 years. Our work has allowed us to investigate the experiences and needs of PWD ?and healthcare professions alike, in not only research projects for our clients but independently. It seemed a natural topic to choose therefore, to explore this area further for our first Global Trends and Unmet Needs online focus group.
The diabetes online community delivers an impressive network of support for people living with diabetes. Avid bloggers are often experts in their own rights. Having lived with diabetes for many years they?re already active reviewers of the devices available to PWD and are likely to have tried multiple treatment plans before feeling confident in their current system of management. Their opinions are trusted by their peers and medical device manufacturers can benefit from their expertise as not only a product user but also an influencer who is valued and trusted within the DOC.
